Founded in 1861, the sailing club has around 2,900 members, two home harbours and ten archipelago harbours along the southern coast. It organises junior sailing, camps, courses, lectures, club races and regattas.
Boat services include inspections, registration, lifting, winter storage and launching. People without boats can also join. The Blekholmen guest harbour welcomes visiting sailors and has a regular ferry connection to the mainland.
