This City of Helsinki boat harbour, run by the city's sports services, is home to a boating club founded in 2004 to promote boating and boating safety. The clubhouse with its terraces moved to its current spot in autumn 2010 after shoreline embankment repairs, and the other half of the building houses a scout canoe shed. The club runs training sessions, boat restoration work parties and boat trips.
Anyone who practises boating and accepts the club's purpose can apply to join, and the board approves applications; supporting members are also welcome. Members can use club equipment and clubhouse storage. The entrance and parking are accessible.
