Founded in 1993, the non-profit association provides social services for people recovering from mental health problems and those returning to working life. Activities include rehabilitative and guided work, social and career guidance, and evening activities. The low-threshold Laturi support community offers daytime and evening activities for adults.
Hyvän Mielen courses are co-designed with participants and peer facilitators using recovery education models. Café Popolo provides social rehabilitation work activities for clients of the Vake wellbeing services county, with profits supporting the association's public-benefit work. Volunteers are also welcome.
