Based in Helsinki, this is the Finnish section of the international human rights movement. It is independent, funded by individual donors, and accepts no public funding. It campaigns on issues such as climate justice, freedom of assembly, refugees' rights and violence against women, submits statements to ministries and Parliament, and produces human rights education material, including a game about Sámi reindeer pastures and land rights.
You can get involved by making one-off or monthly donations, becoming a member, joining a local group or volunteering, leaving a bequest or organising a school collection. There are also online petitions and a webshop. The office entrance is step-free.
