This national association of Finnish-language male voice choirs advises member choirs, provides training and publishes sheet music. Singers, quartets and conductors can take courses, and a song badge system uses basic and advanced repertoires. The association traces its origins to 1913 and was reconstituted as a Sulasol member in 1945.
Publications include the basic and advanced song badge collections, Perusmerkkikirja and Taitomerkkikirja. It organises the Leevi Madetoja International Male Voice Choir Competition, established in 1989, and a senior male choir day. It also has a representative choir, Liiton Miehet.
