Restored in 2000, this public park garden has themed areas for vegetables, herbs, dye plants and medicinal plants from Topelius's era, plus butterfly and flower-arranging gardens. A historic orangery houses houseplants and old pelargoniums. The useful plants association operates in yellow wooden building J, which also hosts garden-themed art.
Courses and events run year-round, with weekly theme evenings from May to September. Guided tours and tailored group programmes can include coffee and herbal tea. Plants and produce are sold at spring and autumn events. Public transport is recommended: parking is limited and driving into the park is prohibited. The entrance and parking area are accessible.
