Active since 1989 and registered in 1991, this non-profit association distributes Finnish media art at home and internationally. Its distribution archive and programme serve curators, programmers and researchers. Works are supplied to festivals, museums and exhibitions, as well as for teaching and media education.
With partner organisations, it arranges exhibitions and screenings and helps artists promote their work. Artists applying must live in Finland, hold Finnish citizenship or have a strong Finnish connection. The association belongs to DINAMO, an international network of artists' moving-image distributors.
