The regional cancer association provides information, support and activities for adults with cancer and their relatives. Services include peer support groups, courses, exercise, lectures, financial support and a breast prosthesis service. Online groups are available for people living with long-term incurable cancer.
Appointments can be booked online, and telephone counselling is available on weekdays. Volunteers can join its activities. Membership benefits include a toilet access pass and a swimming badge. The association operates across Southern Finland, belongs to the Cancer Society network and also has a Swedish-speaking local branch.
