The aviation trade union has negotiated collective agreements since 1955. Its agreements cover more than 2,500 professionals in ground handling, technical services, catering, cargo and technical air navigation work. Company-specific and local agreements supplement them.
Member services include legal aid, shop steward representation and support on occupational safety and health. The website has salary calculators for ground and technical services, member newsletters and an archive of older agreements. It is available in Finnish, Swedish and English. The office is based with AKT, the transport workers' union.
