This trade union for construction workers has about 65,000 members and its head office in Helsinki. It negotiates the sector's seven generally binding collective agreements with employers' organisations and works against the grey economy and labour exploitation through site inspections and work with the authorities. It also publishes the magazine Rakentaja.
Members get advice on pay and employment, help with safety and social issues, and support in disputes, if needed all the way to legal aid. Job placement runs through the Duunimylly service, and the union organises training and events. Membership includes the unemployment fund. The office has a step-free entrance and accessible parking.
