Founded in 1921, this association for cadet officers and cadets focuses on national defence values and community among members. Its traditions trace back to the Haapaniemi cadet school and the late 18th century.
It publishes Kylkirauta magazine and a security policy knowledge database and distributes defence information to schools. Under an agreement with the Finnish Officers' Union, professional and employment matters are handled by the union.
