This trade union represents employees of the Lutheran and Orthodox churches, Christian organisations and the Pentecostal movement. It negotiates collective agreements and promotes members' position and legal protection at work. Members can attend training and webinars and receive the quarterly Kirkon töissä magazine in print and PDF.
Membership is available through a member association or individually, with student and retired membership options. Benefits include leisure travel insurance. The union belongs to STTK, Finland's confederation of professional and expert unions, and is affiliated with the Super unemployment fund.
