This is the umbrella organisation for small Finnish culture, opinion and science magazines. It monitors and promotes the interests of its member magazines and offers them training and marketing channels. It also organises the Magazine of the Year competition, judged by a jury.
The association hosts programmes such as the Kulttilava stage at book fairs, with recordings available online. Its website publishes articles from member magazines on culture, criticism and society.
