Founded in 1966, the residents' association works with the city and local organisations on neighbourhood development, safety, services and community life. It manages two winter swimming spots and supports a choir. Its Ylistalo wooden villa dates from 1804.
The villa can be hired for parties and meetings, and its summer Brita café employs local young people. Allotment plots in Tullisaari are rented to members. Events and excursions are organised, and residents can join as members or volunteers. A digital membership card is available.
