The male choir traces its roots to a singing group formed by master builders in 1896. It was founded in 1915 and registered as an independent association in 1991. Its recordings include Christmas songs and popular music.
Rehearsals have been held at the House of Building Masters since 1932. The choir performs at home and abroad, takes part in song and music festivals and collaborates with other choirs and opera singer Jaakko Ryhänen.
