This regional branch belongs to a politically non-partisan national children's and youth nature and environmental organisation founded in 1943. Activities include nature camps, trips, clubs and school visits.
Visits are arranged for comprehensive, upper secondary and vocational schools, in person or remotely. National working groups address forests, climate, waters and biodiversity. The organisation publishes the children's nature magazine Sieppo and follows safer-space principles.
