The day activity centre belongs to a non-profit foundation established in 1983, providing social psychiatric rehabilitation and preventive mental health work. Its approach emphasises participants' own decisions, goals and experiences.
The centre is one of the foundation's day activity units. The wider organisation also offers housing, work, training, coaching, study and leisure activities. It holds the Finnish Social Enterprise mark and an EcoCompass environmental certificate.
