The organisation supports Finnish alpine sports athletes and runs national teams in alpine skiing, freeski, moguls, speed skiing and para skiing. It organises FIS events, national championships and tours, and provides an athlete development path and coaching fund.
Athletes receive help with FIS codes, competition licences and ski passes; clubs receive competition and administration support. Membership is available through the website. It publishes EDGE magazine, maintains a media photo bank and works on sustainable winter sports events through White Winters.
