This Helsinki-based umbrella organisation brings together friends of the German language and culture in Finland. It has 25 Finnish-German member associations around the country and supports their work, with backing from the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Finnish National Agency for Education and the Aue Foundation.
With its German partner DFG, it arranges school exchanges between Finland and Germany, placing German students with Finnish host families for a summer month, three months or a school year. It also runs virtual theme evenings and exhibitions. The website is in Finnish, with a German version.
