The patient association offers peer support, lectures, discussions and group meetings in Uusimaa for people with thyroid and parathyroid conditions and their relatives. Its remit includes hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism and thyroid cancer.
It belongs to the national Finnish Thyroid Association. Volunteering does not require prior training, and members receive the quarterly Kilpi magazine. The website is available in Finnish and Swedish.
