This small self-service sauna is on a recreation island off Helsinki, looked after by the Uusimaa recreation area association UUVI. It is open all year, and the island is reached by boat or canoe, about 6 km from the Puotila or Vuosaarenlahti harbours.
To book a turn, write your name in the booking log kept in the postbox on the wall. Do not throw sea water on the stove, as it makes it rust quickly; bring fresh water for the löyly (steam). There is a toilet. The terrain is uneven, and the rocks can be slippery when wet.
