This University of Helsinki campus lies near the geographical centre of the city, about 10 km from the city centre. It brings together teaching and research in biosciences, agriculture and forestry, pharmacy and veterinary medicine, and the Finnish Environment Institute, Natural Resources Institute Finland and the Finnish Food Authority are also based here.
Facilities include greenhouses, research fields, an arboretum and laboratories, and veterinary medicine has a small animal hospital and an equine hospital. Researchers can get innovation and entrepreneurship support, such as help with commercialising research and filing invention disclosures. The car park and entrance are step-free.
