This non-profit association funds research, development, innovation and training in the electricity and energy sector. It supports the energy transition and the development of sector expertise. Founded in 1995, with a predecessor dating back to 1928, its work is financed entirely by investment returns.
Funded projects receive guidance on contracts, reporting and communication. The annual Prässi stakeholder workshop helps set funding priorities. Members are associations representing electricity-sector trade, industry and professionals.
