The restaurant is in the historic town hall, completed in 1899 as a school. The neo-Renaissance building was designed by Kuopio builder P. J. Pitkänen, and it has operated as a restaurant since 2015. On weekdays there is a lunch buffet and a soup lunch with a salad table, breads, home-style drinks, pancakes and coffee, and a lighter option is available too.
Outside weekday lunch it works as an ordering restaurant. Rooms for private events such as weddings, memorial services, birthdays and company parties suit 10 to 80 guests, and the building has about 200 seats in total. Catering offers ready-made and customised menus. Tables can be booked. The seating, car park and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
