Founded in 1979, the association runs an alcohol- and drug-free day centre open to everyone. It moved to its present premises in 1998 and is independent of religion and political parties. It belongs to the national federation of A-clubs.
Visitors can have coffee, weekday lunch, company and peer support. Sauna sessions run twice a week, with laundry, billiards, a TV room, computer and printer use available. There is a garage workshop and basement gym. A work instructor supervises participants in rehabilitative work activities.
