The lunch restaurant is run by HötorgCentret, a non-profit association (Jakobstads åldringsvänner r.f.) founded in 2000. It serves home-style cooking, and lunch includes dessert, a salad buffet, bread and coffee. Dishes are made from scratch, mainly from local and domestic ingredients, and fresh bread and home-baked buns are served daily. The head chef is Christoffer Envall.
Lunch is served every day from 11 to 13, including Saturdays and Sundays. You can eat in or take food away, and there is outdoor seating in the courtyard in summer. A vegetarian dish is offered daily, and a salad lunch is available. Lunch vouchers are accepted. The dining room can be rented for events and seats 70 to 100 people. Seating, parking, the entrance and the toilet are wheelchair accessible.
