Teaching at this primary school began in August 1990, initially in another school's premises. Its own building used the same plans as Oinaskatu school. A pupil-created website presents its history and activities.
Activities include music, drama and coding clubs and an after-school club for grades one and two. The school participates in ball game tournaments and has hosted exchange pupils from Germany, Spain and Portugal.
