The confectionery was founded in 1984 as Wiener Paakari Oy by Kaj and Marjatta Gilan, and took its current name in 2014. It offers custom cakes, lunch, catering, breakfast and a party venue. The range includes cream cakes, cheesecakes, children's cakes, christening and wedding cakes, fantasy and picture cakes, as well as sandwich cakes, savoury pastries, meat pies, filled buns and bread.
A daily lunch kitchen produces home-style lunches for around 150 to 200 people. Catering includes party and Christmas party menus, salads and cold side dishes, and tableware and waiter rental. Gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan products are available, with separate gluten-free sweet and savoury ranges. Orders can be picked up at Eromanga's shop in Sörnäinen, Helsinki. The company says it employs about twenty food industry workers. The premises are wheelchair accessible.
