Tukena is a shared organisation for people with intellectual disabilities and others who need special support, and for their families. It consists of the non-profit Tukena-säätiö foundation and the social enterprise Tukena Oy, which provides the services. The organisation has over 30 years of experience of supporting people in need and their relatives.
Services are provided across Finland through many service units, and the organisation hires social and health care professionals. Its website lists webinars and events, such as support for children's hobbies and work-life sessions for job seekers. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
