This traditional Karelian bakery was founded in 1922. Its products are baked by hand at the local bakery. The range includes Karelian pasties with rice or potato filling, vatruskat and sultsinat, and kukko pastries filled with fish, meat or turnip in a rich rye crust. It also bakes cinnamon rolls, twisted buns, bostonkakut and rinkelit.
The products are sold through S-market and K-kauppa grocery stores in many towns, not only at the bakery. Sales consultants visit markets and fairs to sell and offer samples. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
