The service harbour lies right next to the Suvantosilta bridge, about 200 m from the town centre. The solid pontoon jetty has buoys and mooring posts, and smaller boats can raft alongside others. There is no direct water or electricity supply at the jetty.
The harbour pavilion houses Kesäravintola Tuulaakki, with toilets, showers (small charge) and restaurant services. A canoe and boat rental point is next door, and the harbour park has a restaurant and terraces. The Carelicum museum is about 300 m away. The passenger harbour side-berth (paid) is reached under the Pyhäselkä bridge, which is opened on request. In summer, passing traffic and late-night activity can cause noise.
