Founded in 1988, the relatives' association offers professional counselling, peer support, groups and volunteering for people whose loved ones have mental health problems. It also supports relatives concerned about substance use. Activities cover North and South Karelia.
Membership is not required to use support or take part. National online lectures, guides, online groups and Finnish- and Swedish-language chat are available. Local activities include Neurosonic sessions and the Tukituupa support room. Members receive Labyrintti magazine and an activity calendar.
