Founded in 1995, the residents' association organises local events and clubs for children and young people. It works with the city, school, daycare centre and other local organisations.
The association uses a residents' room in Marjalatalo alongside the school. Membership is open to all residents of the area. Information is shared online, on Facebook and Instagram and through event listings. The website is available in Finnish and English.
