This regional cancer association offers support, information and activities for people with cancer and their loved ones. Peer-support groups include a men's group, and club meetings take place in several towns in North Karelia.
Online appointments are available, along with information on peer support, financial support and hereditary cancer counselling. Patient guides are available in Finnish and Swedish, with some printed copies available for collection. Membership is open, and donations and fundraising support the activities.
