Founded in 1956, the hunting club covers different forms of hunting and work with hunting dogs. It has around 88 members and just under 12,000 hectares of hunting grounds. About 30 hunters take part in the moose hunt.
Its own lakeside plot at Viljusjärvi has a clubhouse, game preparation shed, cold storage and grill hut. A lean-to at Konnusjoki is also used. Volunteer activities include fishing competitions, trout stocking and dog shows.
