Founded in 2003, the professional theatre creates original premieres and often involves audiences in its work. It has operated as a cooperative since 2013. Since 2021 its home has been Villa Rana, an Art Nouveau building designed by Yrjö Blomstedt in 1905.
Performances use the 80-seat Paulaharju hall and the garden in summer. Courses and workshops are also offered. Tickets and restaurant interval refreshments can be ordered online. Accessible seating and special arrangements are handled by phone or email; the entrance is accessible.
