The association supports people with intellectual disabilities and their families and advocates for their interests in Central Finland. It seeks to influence attitudes, decisions and services, and organises peer and leisure activities independently and with other organisations.
Groups cater for children and families, young people, adults and relatives. The association publishes the Tulppaani member magazine and runs a supported cooperative and a Me itse peer group. It also offers volunteering and employment opportunities.
