Established in 2017, this foundation supports research and teaching in medicine, social and health sciences and related fields in the Central Finland wellbeing services county. It awards grants and scholarships and supports care practices, equipment, art and patient comfort. Research areas include prostate cancer, Lynch syndrome cancers and rheumatic diseases.
Donations can be made by gift letter, bequest, bank transfer or mobile payment, including monthly giving through MobilePay. The foundation cooperates with hospital volunteer organisations. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
