The restaurant is the taproom and pizzeria of the local Haapala Brewery. Neapolitan-style pizzas are baked in a wood-fired oven from dough fermented for 48 hours. The 12 taps pour a rotating selection of craft beers, including small-brewery beers and ciders. The a la carte menu includes reindeer stir-fry, pike-perch, slow-cooked beef neck and pasta. The meat is Finnish, the pike-perch comes from Sotkamo, and seasonal specials rotate through the year.
Walk-ins are welcome without a reservation, and larger groups can book. Gift cards are sold on site only and are valid for 12 months. The restaurant is part of Haapala BnB Oy, which also runs a brewery restaurant with accommodation and sauna and a café in Sotkamo. Accessible seating and accessible parking are available, but the entrance is not wheelchair accessible and there is no hearing loop.
