This riding school for the whole family at Tavela Manor in Kangasala runs groups from beginner courses to training groups for riders of all ages and levels. The estate's roots go back to the 1500s. The owner is a Master-level riding instructor, trainer and breeder. Facilities include a large outdoor arena, a 28 x 70 m indoor arena, a 39-stall stable, trails and a lake where the horses can swim.
Lessons and gift cards are booked and cancelled in the Hopoti system, and visitors should call ahead. Park outside the fence posts, as cars may not be driven through the gate. Tampere is about 18 km away, and buses stop at the estate gate. Dogs are not allowed on the grounds.
