Founded in 1982, the hunting club offers members hunting, shooting practice, game management and dog work. Around 60 members have access to about 4,000 hectares of hunting grounds. The club organises hunting, fishing and shooting competitions and volunteer work days, with winter feeding as part of game management.
The hunting cabin is available to hire and has sleeping places for several people, a fireplace, kitchen and electric sauna. The building was moved to its present site in 1987 and has been renovated. A game processing hall has cold storage and vacuum equipment.
