This family farm has been run by the same family for five generations, since the 1890s. It grows swede and turnip for retail, industry and households, along with cereals: enzyme malting barley, bread wheat and food-grade oats. Swede cultivation began in 1978 and turnip in 1996. Seasonal fodder carrots and fodder oats are also sold, and a grain drying facility was built on the farm in 1986.
The farm shop sells seasonal products directly to local residents and has done so since the 1990s. The current farmer is Tomi Oksanen, and orders and questions are taken by phone or WhatsApp.
