The bilingual school provides comprehensive basic arts education in music in Finnish and Swedish. Teaching includes instrument and singing lessons and music perception subjects. Early childhood groups cover babies and toddlers, music play and a kantele group for ages 5–7, using the Finnish string instrument.
Registration is without an entrance exam. A general department operates alongside basic music studies. Students can play in orchestras and ensembles or join choirs and singing groups. The school organises concerts and publishes musical performances online.
