The Evangelical Lutheran parish offers services, choir activities, study groups, handicrafts and activities for different ages. Pastoral care includes private confession, communion for the sick and visits by the vicar or deacon. The church was built in 1915–1917; its altarpiece by Germund Paaer dates from 1938, and its 19-stop organ was acquired in 1984.
Church certificates, genealogy certificates and marriage impediment investigations are handled by the Tampere regional central register. Genealogy requests go there, and church records cannot be consulted on site. The church opens as a summer roadside church for about a month. The entrance, parking and toilet are accessible.
