This youth centre stands on the seaside at Sannanranta, about 4 km from the city centre, and is one of eight youth centres supported by the Ministry of Education and Culture. It hosts school camps, camps, meetings, seminars, parties and day programmes for companies. Accommodation is in cottages and in the older Vanha Villa building, with breakfast included.
A buffet lunch is served on weekdays, and catering is available for groups. Meeting rooms with sea views come in full-service packages with rooms, food and coffee, and equipment for hiking, water, forest, snow and ice activities can be rented. Operations are bilingual in Finnish and Swedish, and Swedish-language immersion classes visit. A haunted-house style guided night tour runs in the Vanha Villa cellar. Weddings, birthdays, and company and family celebrations are held here too. Seating, parking, the entrance and the toilet are wheelchair accessible.
