Vocational education covers more than 60 qualifications as well as smaller training packages, including initial, further and specialist vocational qualifications. The college belongs to a regional education authority founded in 2005, with local vocational training roots extending back more than a century.
Applications are accepted year-round and through the national joint application system. Apprenticeships can also cover certain qualifications outside the college's own range. The authority additionally provides youth workshops, outreach youth work, and open and company-tailored continuing education. The entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible.
