A sandy beach has a children's beach beside it, next to a natural stone shore that deepens fairly quickly. The area has a jetty, a volleyball court and two grilling and picnic areas. The playground has swings, sand and water tables and a climbing net.
There are four changing cabins, an outdoor shower and Bajamaja toilets. There is no lifeguard, and the swimming area is marked with buoys. The shoreline woodland is park-like forest on the Katariina trail hiking route, and the beach lies next to the Katariina sea park.
