The association supports the wellbeing, community, hobbies and training of Kymenlaakso Central Hospital staff. Its café serves café products, salads and weekday lunch, while the shop sells toys, magazines and cards.
Maijanranta cottages are rented to members and outside groups for holidays and events. The association organises cold-water swimming there, as well as wine tastings, trips and concerts. The entrance and parking area are wheelchair accessible.
