The association develops city-centre and market activities and operates four markets: the central market, Karhula, Sapokka and Karhuvuori. Many vendors grow or make their own products, including local food.
Pitches for sales, product presentations and pop-ups can be booked by the day, month or year. The association organises centre and market events, with membership open to businesses and organisations across various sectors. A board elected at the annual general meeting leads the activities, and ideas from businesses and residents are welcome.
