Founded in 1997, the umbrella organisation brings together disability and patient associations in South Kymenlaakso. Its 21 member associations reach around 3,100 people. It advocates for disabled and chronically ill people and seeks to influence public decisions.
Events and shared activities support cooperation and networking between member associations. Trips and social gatherings also provide opportunities to take part. Stated values include accessible information and events, human rights and equality.
